Character Counter

Count characters, with and without spaces.

Counts what a reader would call characters rather than what a computer stores: an emoji or an accented letter counts once, even though it may occupy several bytes in UTF-8. The byte count is shown separately because that is what length limits in databases and APIs usually measure.
